I love this Color Throwdown palette! I would have preferred the icy shade of aqua, but my cardstock stash is limited in some colors. One last sheet of this Bazzill shade will have to do. The snowflakes are Penny Black dies and the Joy is from Frantic Stamper. Silver cord is used as an additional accent.

Circle Round for Sunday Stamps
The sketch for this week's Sunday Stamps led me in just a tiny bit of another direction. And for some reason, I was in the "metallic gold" mood. On the way back across Oregon this past weekend, we stopped mid-way as we always do, in The Dalles. I decided I also wanted to visit Joann's for some cardstock colors I needed. Imagine walking into a sale! 70% off sheets of cardstock and at least 40% off other papers, etc. One of my purchases was a DCWV mat stack that has pages of gold foil. I used one of those pages for this card and cut the rectangle for the image/sentiment out of gold, as well.

Mojo Monday

Again, I discovered that my largest circle die isn't that large at all. But I once believed that I would never use dies in my card-making---and that turned out just the opposite! In my Mojo Monday card, I decided on a star instead of a square, which is a big deal for me. I tend to follow sketches pretty closely because I don't consider myself very creative.

Sunday Stamps -- on Wednesday

I finally was able to use the Antique Gear Set die from Memory Box! It works well with this sketch from Sunday Stamps. "Hello" is also a Memory Box die.

Freshly Made in a Shade of Purple

Another monochromatic card for me but some color for this Freshly Made Sketch. The paper is all from Graphic 45's"Time to Flourish" 6x6 pad. The Massa Leaf Outline die is from PoppyStamps and "joy" is a tiny stamp from SU. I think the decorative square die is from Spellbinders--or is it Sizzix? (That tiny jewel covers a stray ink mark.)

Mojo Monday -- Tall and Skinny

My skinny (3.5" x 5.5") card features a new "carpe diem" die from Joy Crafts. The butterfly is Artisan Chipboard from PinkPaislee. I enjoyed playing with the Mojo Monday 450 sketch.

Mojo Monday 437

For this week's MOJO MONDAY sketch, I chose designer paper from Teresa Collins' "Sweet Afternoon" pad and Smoky Slate cardstock from Stampin' Up. The sentiment is unidentified, and the label die is either from Spellbinders or Sizzix (I don't store in original packages).

Mojo Monday
I tend to be quite literal when I interpret some card sketches, and that was the case with the current Mojo Monday sketch.
For my own card, I chose papers from a Graphic 45 "Artisan Style" 6x6 pad, and I opted for dies that weren't circular.
