A Wedding Card for Double D

Today's theme is:

WEDDING

and here is today's mood board to help inspire you . . .

I think I've made only two wedding cards ...ever!  For Double D's wedding challenge, I first considered glittery gold, but discarded that because it made me think of a Golden Anniversary.  So, back to silver, black and white.  (My only wedding stamp is from Rubbernecker.)  

Adding Leaves to the Flower Challenge

This card is a little "out there, " I suppose, but it was fun to create for The Flower Challenge #41. I used a great two-step Rubbernecker image for the flowers (Color Burst on acetate provided the "ink" for the pink), and cool black "leaves" with a die from PoppyStamps.  The sentiment is from a Unity mini stamp set. 

Sunday Stamps with Mae West

I have many sentiment stamps that I rarely use; often, it's because of the shape of the sentiment.  The Mae West saying is a Rubbernecker stamp.  It worked well with this Sunday Stamps sketch. 

Freshly Made with a Rosette

Two square cards in a row with Freshly Made Sketches, and I really like it!  The DT does such a great job of inspiration with a wide variety of sketch interpretations.  I just happened to have a rosette that I made a couple of years ago--it showed up when I cleaned in my craft room last month.  From there, I chose complementary papers for the rest of the card. And the sentiment: it's from Rubbernecker and I'm using it for the very first time.  It can be humorous, or in this day and age, quite appropriate. 

  

CAS Watercolor

1. Must be CAS design (including open space) and follow challenge theme
2. The main part of your design must include watercolouring or a product that uses water. 

For this CAS Watercolor challenge, I used Brushos in turquoise and a lot of water to "watercolor" this design:  the flower image is an old SU! one, as is the "joy" sentiment.  The frame is a Rubbernecker design.  

Freshly Made Sketch #297

The sketch for Freshly Made Sketches is so simple, but with many possibilities. I was able to use a new stamp from Rubbernecker and the "Hip Hello" die from Poppystamps.  

Tuesday Cards

More DTP for these cards....Prima's "Rondelle" collection.  The sentiment is from Rubbernecker. For the first time, I stamped the sentiment on die-cut vellum, which worked well on the this card.
