GREEN for Think Monday Think ATC

It's surprising how an 'easy' theme can cause me so much trouble!  This ATC for TMTA's "Green" theme is the fifth one I made.  When I saw the color theme, I decided that I wanted to use color wash and Glimmer Mist sprays.  That was the easy part. Nothing else seemed to work.   Finally, this image from Ten Two Studios fell out of my stash of collage images, and the ATC came together.

A second Blue Moon Challenge

There are so many great opportunities with "Take on a Tutorial" at Gingersnap Creations' Blue Moon Challenge, so I'm doing a second one! Sharon Briss' tutorial is titled "Overcoming ATC Angst."    I've made many ATCs in the past several years, but I've always resisted the landscape layout.  So I went against my instinct with this one.  I used Glimmer Mists for the background,  script stamping on the background, one-word clear sticker, a pretty image from Digital Collage Images, and that trusting butterfly, also a sticker.

Buds and/or Blooms

Buds and blooms are sure signs of spring, and that's the theme for Think Monday Think ATC this week.  Taking a cue from the very creative Peggy Gatto, I chose one of my own photos for my ATC  and added a 'floral' quote.  This is my earliest blooming peony, called "Rose Crystal." 

In A Row --- Think Monday Think ATC

The hairdos for this wedding party might look a little strange after my not-so-deft scissor work.  However, they are 'in a row,' and that's the theme for TMTA

ET...Phone Home for Think Monday ATC

One of my all-time favorite movies is "ET" and I remember so well hearing my then-very-young son describing it to me after seeing it.  We even recorded his animated account.   It's a Movie Scenes theme at Think Monday Think ATC this week, and I feel as if I've cheated just a bit:  this is the video release poster with a couple of my own additions.  (I believe the original movie poster featured the two fingers touching....ET's and Elliot's.)

"Numbers" for Steff's Stuff

Nearly three weeks into the new year, and I haven't started my 'resolution' to read ....at least as much as I craft.  Crafting continues to win out!   "Numbers" is the theme for ATCs at Steff's Stuff this week.  The child image is from Digital Collage Sheets and the background was created in an embossing folder.

"Hats" for Steff's Stuff

Having just discovered Steff's ATC challenges last week, I gave in to another one this week: an ATC with "Hats" as the theme. My image is an old stamp from Hero Arts, which I paper-pieced and embellished with 'rain drops.' After cutting that image into an oval, I mounted it on Basic Grey paper overstamped with great descriptions of 'woman.' (I'm really having difficulty starting on my resolution to read more than I craft!)

TMTA .... Tiger

It's the Year of the Tiger (except for my once-hero Tiger Woods, who is in a free fall from his pedestal!)....and Think Monday Think ATC has "Tiger" as the theme. I found this fabulous image somewhere on the internet. (It captures the way I've been feeling lately!) The specialty paper in the background looks very much like leather.

RED ATC for Steff's Stuff

It's New Year's Day....I love football, and I can craft while I'm watching all the Bowl games. Just discovered a new challenge site on "Steff's Stuff" which has ATC challenges each week. This week it's the color red. My ATC features a transparent overlay with a collage image centered underneath on the bright red specialty cardstock.

TMAT -- Fruit

I haven't participated in Think Monday Think ATC for a while, but I had an ATC that fit this week's theme of Fruit. Mine is a pear that I painted with Twinkling H2O's.

A Bottle for TMAT

It's Think Monday Think ATC and the theme is "Bottles." This image from Ten Two Studios is the only one I could find with a bottle in it, but it's a great size for an ATC.

Saturday's Workout.... Grunge Alcohol Inks

For Saturday's Workout this week, the challenge is to use alcohol inks and 'grunge' them up! I've created a pink and brown grunge ATC.

Theme Thursday -- Vintage Women

At Theme Thursday, this week's challenge is to create an ATC with Vintage Women as the theme. My stamped vintage woman image is framed by an acetate ATC frame from my 'stash' of supplies.

Think Monday, Think ATC .... Marilyn

Once in awhile, I have an idea that will work for TMTA, and today is one of those times. Marilyn Monroe is the current theme, and I just happen to have a handful of Marilyn images from Stampinback. Other entries can be seen here.
