Less is More with Stripes

CAS with stripes: that's the challenge for this week's Less is More. I chose a wide striped ribbon from Stampin' Up! to anchor the pretty "Thank You" by long-ago DJ Inkers.    Unlike most of my cards, which just go into a box, this one will go in tomorrow's mail.

Mojo Monday -- on Friday

Continuing to catch up with my card challenges this week:  Mojo Monday #490.

It was that beautiful black and cream plaid ribbon that inspired this card:  the ribbon was a freebie included in my Verve order!  (I've used it on two cards now.)  From there, I went to Graphic 45's Artisan Style paper pad for the designer piece to front the black dry-embossed layer. Finally, I chose another of my favorite sentiment stamps from Wordsworth.

Freshly Made with Black and White Ribbons

It's hard to beat black and white ... for anything!  For the current Freshly Made Sketch, I was inspired by Jennifer Timko's navy and white creation.  (I've had the sentiment stamp for quite awhile, but this is the first use of it.----Lizzie Anne...gourmetrubberstamps.com)

Less is More -- Sketch 16

Joining with the Less is More crowd today -- choosing pink and black, one of my favorite color combinations.  Details are pretty wide dotted ribbon from Club Stamp, a dry-embossed panel, and beautiful "imagine" die from Penny Black.
