Color Throwdown

For this Color Throwdown challenge, I chose the digi image from Power Poppy and colored it with watercolor markers.  I finished by painting Glossy Accents over the colored image and then cut it out with the Distressed Edge rectangular die. My little go-to enamel adhesive dots accent the old SU! sentiment.

Less is More with Dry Embossing

It sounded easy when I read this Less is More challenge title, but I admit that I tried at least 3 embossing folders before going back to the one I use the most : Swiss Dots.  The stamp is from Hero Arts with a sentiment from Verve.  The petals of the stamped flower were colored with markers and then covered in Glossy Accents.

Freshly Made Sketch for a Baby Shower

When I make cards for sketches, they are made with no other purpose in mind --- but this Freshly Made Sketches card is different.  This weekend, we're driving 300+ miles for a baby shower for our first grandchild, a granddaughter.  This card sketch worked perfectly for the occasion.  It's an image from Pink Gem Designs on Etsy.

I colored the image with watercolor markers in the gray and yellow theme of the nursery (and added red hair for our daughter-in-law), then fussy-cut it. Once cut out, the image was covered in Glossy Accents.
