Through the Window....on a tag

"The Tag It On" challenge involves inclusion of a window on the tag this week.   I've used one of my own photographs of an upstairs window in an abandoned house; the curtain in that empty window just fascinated me!   The tag was stamped with a script image before the photo was added.  Then the sentiment was stamped below the window sill.

Tag it On

"Emboss It" is the challenge at Tag it On this week. The embossing, whether with Cuttlebug or something else, should be the feature.   This  new CB folder  is one of the 5x7 ones, perfect for embossing a #8 tag.  A variety of Distress Inks provides the color.

A Face on a Tag

Dragon's Dream sponsors "Tag it On" as a challenge, and this week it's all about "The Face."  I created my tag with alcohol inks on glossy cardstock and then stamped "Elsie" from Impression Obsession and the fern from Hero Arts.  Some gold ink finished it off.
(After I posted this, I realized that the challenge was for last week, but I think I got in under the wire!)

Text in Purple Tag

Frankie at DragonsDream Tag It On has designated one of my favorites as her challenge: a purple tag. The color is to be purple and featuring mostly text. I think I've achieved that. (IRL, the tag color is more lavender than it photographed.)

Tag it On Challenge -- Bookmark

I found a new challenge blog DragonsDream which has bookmarks as the current tag challenge. My bookmark is made from an alcohol ink background on glossy cardstock, stamped with New York images, and embellished with black 'jewels.' (Almost every day, I get a phone call from New York when my son is walking to the subway that takes him to work at Fives Leaves, a restaurant in Brooklyn. He lives in Brooklyn, he takes the subway in Brooklyn, and he still has about 15 blocks to walk. It's difficult for me to wrap my mind around that!)
