Color Throwdown

For Color Throwdown 474, I decided to use a digi sunflower image that was a freebie from Club Scrap recently.  Choosing the markers to color it was the challenge; there are many SU! and Distress markers that seem to match the color palette, but don't really.  I like this neutral result, maybe because it's a calm palette for the winter season.

Mojo Monday -- a new month

It's a new month...a new week...and a new Monday.  That means it's Mojo Monday time!

I dug out some special papers that I bought from Club Scrap a few years ago; it's paper that I wish would duplicate itself so I could keep on using it!

Tuesday Mailing

As I was thinking of my Tuesday post, I realized I had already put the cards in envelopes and addressed them for mailing today!  I carefully opened the envelopes and photographed the cards; scotch tape re-sealed the envelopes.

These cards were made of the same pretty papers I used earlier for a card challenge, but I added a new sentiment--or at least, it's a sentiment I hadn't used before.  The papers and sentiment are all from Club Scrap.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #281

I love this black and gold specialty paper from Club Scrap; it's dramatic of itself, but combined with black and gold cardstock, it's even more dramatic, in my opinion.   When I was deciding what to do for Sweet Sunday's sketch 281, I opened a drawer I haven't looked in for awhile....and there were these papers!  The sentiment is an old stamp, one of my favorites from Wordsworth.

Freshly Made with "Tribal"

The sketch for this week's Freshly Made Sketches seems to suggest a tag and some banners.  I chose my papers from Club Scrap's "Tribal" collection and made banners from washi tape and a pretty piece of gold and black specialty paper in the collection.  "Friend" is a Cheery Lynn die.
