Color Throwdown -- Red, Black, and White

As I mentioned in my previous post , I'm fond of this color combo and made two cards in one day with these colors.  For this Color Throwdown card, I used a background stamp "Splatter" from Wendy Vecchi and one of my favorite Wordsworth sentiments -- I love the font and the sentiment.  I started with one wide red ribbon, but it was too wide; instead, I chose two narrow ribbons accented with silver thread.

Now that's the way to splatter! Not as messy as what I was doing yesterday. I had it everywhere! Beautiful quote. Socrates really said that all those years ago? The man was wise! Beautiful card for the challenge, Evelyn!
