I have a drawer full of dragonfly and butterfly stamps, and they remain among my favorites for stamped images. For this week's Less is More, I chose the large dragonfly from I Brake for Stamps and the sentiment from Stampotique. I heat-embossed the dragonfly, cut it out, and then painted with watercolors and Distress Oxides. When that was dry, I spritzed it with Glimmer Mist Iridescent Gold and popped it up on adhesive squares.

That dragonfly has so much detail and oh so gorgeous. Nice finish with the glimmer mist. Makes it stand out beautifully.
That dragonfly is gorgeous. It looks like a metal pin. You worked wonders with the DOx inks watercolouring it. Love the shine from the glimmer mist. Beautiful card. Thank you for joining us this week at Less is More. Trina :)
Love the wonderful colours and sparkle of your big dragonfly. So effective.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
How nice is this card!
Wow! The metallic effect you achieved with this dragonfly is amazing Evelyn! It is as beautiful as any dragonfly you would see in nature. Fabulous sentiment and I love the placement of your elements. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More xx
Oh, my goodness! You made the most beautiful butterfly. It looks so real! What a lovely quote, too. I'm sorry to take so long getting here. Not out having fun, but been sick.
Gorgeous card, your dragonfly is stunning, Cathy x
