Sweet Sunday Sketch 261

I really enjoy the Sweet Sunday Sketches; they are ones I can work with.  Card design has always been a challenge for me, so a sketch is the answer.

This sketch was perfect for the wired burlap ribbon in my stash.  I just had to decide between red and "kraft" color--which is actually "burlap" color.   The center card layer was embossed in a Tim Holtz folder, and "grateful" was cut with a Penny Black die.

Hi, Evelyn,
You make even the simplest cards look so elegant. I love your use of papers that you used on some other cards.
Can't wait to catch up on things. Have no clue how football season came and went and didn't to hear about your teams.

I promise to write soon. I downsized, yet I feel it has not been for the better since I am not completing all that I should be doing,. I do check out your cards, though.

I love working with a sketch, too, and Sweet Sunday is a favorite. Love this with the red burlap and embossed white. Very soon I will have much more time for stamping and sketches.
