Freshly Made with Naturals

It's a celebration on Freshly Made Sketches...celebrating the 200th sketch!   A combination of cardstocks in naturals, plus "wordy" Washi tape, Petaloo burlap embellishment, and a stick-on sentment.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 261

I really enjoy the Sweet Sunday Sketches; they are ones I can work with.  Card design has always been a challenge for me, so a sketch is the answer.

This sketch was perfect for the wired burlap ribbon in my stash.  I just had to decide between red and "kraft" color--which is actually "burlap" color.   The center card layer was embossed in a Tim Holtz folder, and "grateful" was cut with a Penny Black die.

Inspired by Burlap

I'm a sucker for flower embellishments, particularly those from Prima....and I have a couple of small drawers full of them.  In today's mail with my latest order from Blitsy was a card of four fabulous burlap flowers.  I was inspired to make a card with one of the flowers and DP from Canvas Corp.
