Blue Moon Challenge --- Take on a Tutorial

Those gals at Gingersnap Creations have quite the variety of challenges on their blog, and on the "Blue Moon" 5th Wednesday, it's "Take on a Tutorial" time.   The challenge is to create something based on one of the many tutorials previously posted.   I chose Ali Manning's "Salted Backgrounds," which is one I've always enjoyed doing. I used table salt for this particular piece.   The image is from a sheet of Graphic 45 "Boardwalk" paper and covered with clear ultrafine microbeads.  (Closeup shows effects of salt and the beaded surface.)

This is great. Is the salt in the beads, too?

It looks amazing. I've never tried this techniques beforehand, I will give it a go soon.

Love it! I've never used the microbeads--need to give it a go! I think I need to give the salted background a try, too!
