Tuesday Card

I've posted before about my young friend Chelsea being a wife, mother of 3, nurse, a rancher's wife, and a horsewoman who loves to rope. In her spare time, she writes a bi-monthly column about ranch life in an agricultural newspaper.  One of her recent columns told of all the hats she wears, and how she loves that roping "hat."  I used one of the three horse stamps that I own for today's card. It's from Technique Junkies.  I stamped it in SU's Going Gray, cut the image with a "wonky" die, applied it to distressed-look designer paper, and applied some of my very favorite matte Sparkles.  

Freshly Made Sketches "Y' all"

My choice for this week's Freshly Made Sketches was just a fun one...I wanted something different for the feature shape, so I was digging through my dies.  The Spellbinder head of a horse and horseshoe seemed logical.  The sentiment was created with alpha stamps.  The horseshoe seemed appropriate for the inside of the card.  

Fill-in for Crafting Block

Mojo Monday kept me inspired to make cards each week, even if I didn't do the MM challenge.  But Mojo Monday is no longer; after 10 years, it has ended.  I have other challenges, but I'm having difficulty getting inspired.

This particular card is one I sent to a friend who gets a card each week from me.  This was created with Bister...and the horse was outlined with Glossy Accents.  The Filly Sketch is from Stampendous.
