Red and Black CAS Watercolor

For this CAS Watercolor card, I chose a beautiful image from Altenew's "Wonderland" set. The Dr. Seuss quote is also found in the set.  I watercolored the flowers with Peerless watercolors and the stems with a watercolor marker.  This is definitely a flower stamp that I will be using again!

Freshly Made with an Angle

For this Freshly Made Sketch, I chose neutral papers with muted colors; the flower embellishment was chosen to punch up the color a bit.

Freshly Made Sketch 262

I really wanted to do something special/different with Freshly Made Sketch 262 but I wasn't successful at all. Instead, I relied on some pretty washi tape for the band in the sketch, and a large white Prima flower for the circle shape.

Less is More....almost late!

I'm sneaking in under the wire with this card!   I had it made yesterday, but made a blog post for another challenge and forgot to post this one.  It's LESS IS MORE in a limey-green -- and I was able to use of of my many, many flower embellishments, as well as the lovely "Believe" Penny Black die.

Freshly Made Sketch for Tuesday Mailing

This card sketch is serving a dual purpose:  the Freshly Made Sketch 226 and my weekly Tuesday mailing to two friends.  One has received a card a week for more than four years and the other for two years.  My cards feature a tulip from Inkadinkado and a sentiment from Stampabilities.  After coloring the tulips with markers, I applied a layer of Glossy Accents for the look of enamel.

Spring on the west side of Oregon

On our recent trip across the country to NYC, we spent time in Portland with our youngest son.  Two walks in the neighborhood resulted in some wonderful flower images.
