Mucha for Art Creations Friday

I love Mucha images, and Art Creations Friday features one of them this week.  I've chosen to put the image in  a microscope slide 'sandwich' and microbead it into a slide mailer.

Joining Art Creations Friday again....

It's been awhile since I've participated in an Art Creations Friday challenge.  This week features a century-old Coca Cola calendar.  With a little digital distressing,  some inking, dyed lace and flower,  I've created a vintage tag.

Art Creations Friday is back from vacation!

ACF is active once again, and this week's image is a beauty!  I was able to practice some digital art with my very limited knowledge.  I suppose it could be called a "hybrid," since it's a combination of image plus dimensional  items with some Adobe Elements thrown in.

Art Creations Friday --- Beautiful Butterfly

The pretty red butterfly on Art Creations Friday this week is a different image from what we usually have to work with.  I used a beautiful background piece that's a  freebie from Moonlight Journey, a beautiful little girl  image and two of those butterflies.  The frame is a piece of K&Company's "Madeline" patterned paper.

A Tag for Art Creations Friday

A beautiful Waterhouse image is the challenge piece for Art Creations Friday this week.  I chose to create a tag, which is probably my favorite format, and added some gold shimmer, some lace and pearls to finish it off. (Click on tag for closer look.)

Emerald for Art Creations Friday

Wil has created another fabulous textured background to serve as the starting point for this week's Art Creations Friday challenge. There is enough green in the background to inspire me to use one of my new "Emerald" images from Dezinaworld. (I was the lucky 'spot winner' on the Dezinaworld blog!)

 

Art Creations Friday's Praying Angel

It has been weeks since I've participated in the Art Creations Friday challenge. This week, we have a beautiful praying angel to work with. I applied Rock Candy Stickles to all the wings.

Wil, Hermine, Femmy and Papeetje at Art Creations Friday continue to provide fabulous images and backgrounds to work with each week.   After printing the girl on textured cardstock, I colored her with chalks and then sprayed the image with iridescent gold Glimmer Mist.  I even used my new Martha Stewart deep edge punch as part of the trim. (Piece is 5"x7")

I haven't participated in Art Creations Friday challenges for awhile. This is one of the most striking images, and I just had to figure out some way to use it! I would LOVE to take a photograph like this! Cuttlebug background has been sprayed with silver Glimmer Mist.
