CASEing a Valentine Card

Now and then, I watch Kristina Werner's wonderful card-making videos.  She is well into her Valentine cards now, and I decided to CASE a technique she illustrates on Day 9 of her Valentine's Day series.

I happened to have just purchased the Concord and Ninth Love stamps and dies, so I used Kristina's card as a pattern for the two cards for my sons' families.  Applying the thin strips of cardstock was a challenge for me with my large, arthritic hands, but it's definitely a technique I will use again.

Well, these are definitely very cool looking cards! They make quite a statement. The cardstock strips are an interesting background. I'm looking at how the ends are snipped and then laid out in a seemingly random pattern. Very fun!
