My first thought for this sketch was the shape....I have many flowers that I rarely use anymore, but I also have some Prima butterflies--glitzy butterflies. So I chose one and tried some cardstock, but abandoned it for this dark teal butterfly. The papers are also Prima, from a 6x6 paper stack called Firefly. From there, it was choosing which portion of the patterned paper to use for the "boxes." The sentiment is from a Power Poppy clear set of magnolias.

Lovely colors and great card, Evelyn.
I guess we where crafting this sketch at the same time.
Beautiful card, Evelyn. I Really LOVE the soft colors and texture of the paper you used. I tend to like dramatic, but this proves that subtle can be just as effective, if not more. Lovely! Thanks for joining us this month at Freshly Made Sketches!
Gorgeous butterfly with your beautiful DSP boxes, Evelyn. I love your interpretation for the sketch challenge. TFS Hugs...Nancy

This is a gorgeous card and just evokes a calm and peaceful feeling in me. Great job!
Beautiful card indeed!
Amazing. I still, after all these years, have no idea how you manage to blend such beautiful colors from paper...You definitely have a very artistic mind.
