Color Throwdown -- Guest Star Stamper

When I was notified that I had been selected as Color Throwdown's Guest Star Stamper for my November 8 card, I was more than a little shocked. The color palette for my "guest stamper" card was also one I'm not really comfortable with, either, but it was a good challenge for me.

Earthy colors are difficult for me, for some reason, but outside my windows are all kinds of earthy colors; fall colors have left, the cold has descended, but there is no snow yet.  I decided to use the darker colors as layers under the cream focal layer, which I dry embossed with a Sizzix folder.  A little strip of burlap ribbon serves perfectly under the stacked  Verve sentiment and beside the Verve flower embellishment.
