Watercolor and Cling Wrap

I see it's been a month since I last posted--holiday activities lasted that long!  The CAS Mix Up is my first step back into cardmaking this new year.  Watercolor and cling wrap make a great background for die cuts and stamping.  The die is from Poppy Stamps; the sentiment from Inkadinkado. Although I have previously used the cling wrap technique with spray inks, I enjoyed watching the video listed on the CAS Mix Up post, and I chose tube watercolors for this card.

What a pretty cling wrap background, Evelyn! The black die cut flower is so pretty against it and the sentiment is wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

I'm off to a slow stamping start this year, but have no good excuse like you. I'm going to try a couple of challenges. Would you believe I don't have any cling wrap? You made a beautiful card in my favorite background colors. The sentiment is the truest and the black is the perfect pop.

Your background is so pretty Evelyn!! I have not tried this technique with tube watercolours, so will have to add that on my "TO-DO" list. :) Gorgeous colours that really are the star of the card. Lovely paired with a simple black silhouette die-cut. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
