Case-ing the Sketch ... over and over

When I saw this CAS(E) this sketch, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it---use the beautiful Stampotique feather image.  I certainly didn't know that I would end up re-doing the card (except for the feather), twice.  I assembled the card and decided where I would put my Rubbernecker sentiment; the result was upside down.  That necessitated re-making the base card. The second time, I stamped the sentiment and realized the base piece was crooked.  Fortunately, I was able to pull it off and trim to make it straight.  There were a lot of used pieces of cardstock by the time I finished.

Wonderful take on the sketch!

I hate when that happens! I have more card making disasters than I care to mention. There's another one of those stamps I love with the unexpected pattern. It's a feather-like pattern, but stylized. Beautiful card, Evelyn!
