After viewing Loll's videos of splattering techniques, I chose the one that uses a Distress Stain for this CAS Mix Up. (It required two tries because the stain didn't dry as I expected, and I soon had green fingerprints on the watercolor paper.) For my card, I splattered, stamped, and added a die cut, which was a flourish that I cut in half so I could accent both top and bottom of the splattered layer.

I LOVE your splats, Evelyn! And the die cut flourishes is brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
I absolutely love those big splats, Evelyn! I had to go watch the video to see how you achieved them. Wouldn't you know I don't have any of the ink daubers. My brain is forming an idea, though. I can picture having ink all over the wall...
Love your monochromatic CAS design, Evelyn. Your splatters turned out great and I love how you split your die cut flourish. It really pulled your design together. Wonderful sentiment too. TFS my friend and joining us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs...
Wow! I love your splatters ... they work so well in your design. I'm not a great fan of green but your card has convinced me of the beauty of the colour. Fabulous.
