Less is More in Purple and Gold

Purple is one of my favorite colors...and gold is the frosting!    Less is More #301 is featuring colors this week...the royal colors of purple and gold.  I started with a watercolor background of Ken Oliver's Color Bursts, added leaves punched out of gold circle stickers, and finished with a sentiment from Impression Obsession heat-embossed in detail gold.

Purple and gold is a beautiful combo. I like it for Christmas cards and was thinking about it yesterday, in fact. Another very nice background under those leaves, and I love the texture of the purple paper.

A wonderful and dreamy take on our challenge Evelyn and I'm loving the effect of those colour bursts; so dramatic with the gold embossing and a perfect take on the challenge. Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More this week. Sarah

This looks fantastic Evelyn! I love the look of Color Bursts, and the leaves and sentiment in gold add a real pop against those intense background colours. Very stylish and luxurious in feel! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

Love the rich colour blend of your panel and the gold looks fabulous over it. The texture card behind is a great backdrop too.
Thanks for sharing with us.
