Tuesday Card
This week's card uses a background of Color Bursts on watercolor paper...created by my 9-year-old great-niece, Kennedy. She loves playing with the color powders. The butterfly is from Stampotique and the matte Sparkles are from Doodlebug Designs. I have several cards of the "sparkles" so I plan to use them frequently.

Less is More in Purple and Gold
Purple is one of my favorite colors...and gold is the frosting! Less is More #301 is featuring colors this week...the royal colors of purple and gold. I started with a watercolor background of Ken Oliver's Color Bursts, added leaves punched out of gold circle stickers, and finished with a sentiment from Impression Obsession heat-embossed in detail gold.

CAS Watercolor -- Text (other than sentiment)
Just discovered the CAS Watercolor Blog with a new challenge to try: a clean and simple watercolor card with text other than the sentiment. As it turns out, I don't have a sentiment, but I do have a background text stamp clear-embossed over the watercolor base. (I need to mention that the watercolor layer was created by my almost-8-year-old great-niece, who loves to play with Color Bursts and Brushos.) The little embellishments are called "matte sprinkles" from Doodlebug Design, Inc.

Less is More with a One-Layer Sentiment
One layer again with Less is More, and the sentiment is in the spotlight. I chose a Wordsworth sentiment with a background of Color Burst colors. (They are messy to work with and they produce unplanned results. I suggest masking very bit of cardstock that you prefer to stay white!)
