"Shattered Stains" is the latest technique in Linda Ledbetter's Compendium of Curiosities 2 Challenge. It's located on page 48 of Tim's second volume. This week, Simon Says Stamp is the sponsor.
The pine tree was die cut from grungeboard and my application of the technique resulted in this dark tree; I made a lighter-colored one, but decided I liked the rich look better. It's backed by cardstock from Paper Stash Kraft Resist that was dry-embossed and inked with Distress Inks. The sentiment and Idea-ology pieces are also from Tim's collections.

I love the tree and then with the neutral tones...looks great. Your new selection in the Header looks great too!
This is gorgeous Evelyn. What a great composition and great colors.
Lovely greet

This is gorgeous. Love the colours.
Hello Evelyn
I am pleased you chose the richer darker tree, because any-thing lighter would have been lost with your gorgeous Bg. Now we can appreciate both techniques, and enjoy what we see.
Smiles:)
