Dealing with no natural light!

I've lived in the same house all my married life....almost 33 years!  Only in the last two years have I become so aware of the fact that there is almost no natural light....at least where I can use it for photographs!  For Linda's Compendium of Curiosities Challenge today, I spent so much more time trying to get a decent photograph than putting the Altered Metal with Paint creation together!  It's still not true-to-life.   To top it off, I dropped the piece and crimped a corner of the thin metallic paper, which refused to smooth out.    Today was definitely a challenge!

I have only three dabbers that work, so I used Juniper and Pearl for Tim's metal pieces.  The patterned paper has the same juniper color as the paint--and I just realized that it's the same paper I used to back up my previous Curiosity.    (See page 48 in Tim's book for this easy technique---#30 on Linda's list.)

This is an interesting piece and I love the last few pieces that I missed while I was away.
As far as natural light around my house...we have a lot ,,that is if the sun would ever shine lately.

Hello, lovely Evelyn! Looks like you figured out a great system for photographing your art-- this looks fabulous! I love how perfectly aged the metal pieces look-- like they have a coating of lime, which is SO cool!
