Curiosity #27.....Misting with Distress Inks over a Mask

I'm not sure why I had difficulty with this "Curiosity" of Tim's, but I went through at least 4 tags. Linda has chosen "Distress Misting Masks" as the challenge.    I intended  to try a lighter color but ended up with Pine Needles instead.

Love the bright green in contract to the masked area and black writing. Cool!

Well I think it is just great Evelyn, there is nothing wrong in the colour, it works well with the Black text.

This tag is graphically stunning Evelyn - the masking and dark green background with the black text work very well together.

I think the pine needles looks amazing, especially with the nice light masked area showing through :D

Love the bright new look of your blog Evelyn! And, as always I envy how you "just do it" when it comes to paper crafting. I always feel like I have to make time, and I haven't been very good about doing that lately. Thanks for inspiring me in spite of that!

Wow, I'm in love with the Pine Needles background color!! I need to use that one more. Did you use the PP mist, or did you make your own? Your tag is really gorgeous!

Evelyn, it took me a few tries before I liked the results, too. I think misting over masks is like that-- you never quite know what you're going to get! This sure did turn our beautifully, though. That emerald color immediately made me think of St. Patrick's Day, and it's so pretty. I love the overstamping and cool little flower, too!
