Perfect Distress for Monday

Another "Compendium of Curiosities Challenge" on Linda's blog this week:   Perfect Distress.  I remember trying it when it first appeared on Tim's blog.   Today, my inking either "under-wicked" or "over-wicked" but I did end up with three tags to illustrate the technique.  The two most colorful tags were prepared with the wrinkle-free distress technique before I used the Perfect Distress technique. (A click will take you closer.)

Great tags - they are all sooo lovely. The closer look makes it easier to see the distressed shimmer. Beautiful!

All three are fabulous with gorgeous background colors! Sure do know what you mean about the over and under, but still was so fun!

These three tags are great, really like how the truck turned out with this technique, step 5 caught me out! Had great fun with this challenge.

Evelyn, these all turned out beautifully! I especially love the misty autumn leaves, but really, all three are so perfect in their design and use of the Perfect Distress technique! I like the wrinkle-free distress as a base for this process-- I haven't tried that yet. Great job!

Beautiful tags Evelyn. I think those lovely soft autumn colours are gorgeous. I agree, it's really quite tricky to get the watery spraying bit just right.
