Those odd Distress Embossing Powders are truly rather odd, but most interesting. This week's
challenge on Studio L3's "Compendium of Curiosities" involves the unusual EP's. Generally, I prefer 'pretty' over grunge, but I do like the combination of Weathered Wood and Cranberry powders, inked with Weathered Wood and Fired Brink Distress Inks. The architecture images are new ones from Blockhead.
Thanks, Linda! I might have to try another one of these.
And I did try another one. Tim's images used with Black Soot and Gold Distress Powders, inked with Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw and Faded Jeans, with a little Walnut Stain on the edges.

Bravo, Evelyn! Looks like you've completely mastered the Distress Powder. These tags are stunning! Both your color combos work perfectly, and the embossing gives them a wonderful, vintage feel.
I think you do grunge beautifully! ♥
Your tags are both wonderful! That car so suits this technique.
These are both great - I love the 2nd one particularly.
I found you through Kard Krazy....you do wonderful work. Thanks for the inspiration.

Wow! These turned out great. Very vintagy.
Love that first tag and how you layered it. It is so interesting!
Whew, awesome! Both pieces are wonderful.
I had to reread your post because I could have sworn the architecture tag was recycled metal of some kind!
Both tags are just wonderful!! Love your color choices.
