I'm rushing to make the deadline! This Freshly Made Sketch led me to a fall leaf cut from a Bigz die from Tim Holtz. It's called Tattered Leaves. I used a variety of powders and water to create the background color before the die cutting. The central piece was dry-embossed with another Tim Holtz embossing folder, and I found the sentiment on a sheet of clear stamps. I added a little copper accent with the copper thread. (Edit: this card is different from the card at the link because I decided it needed a "frame" around the central layer.)

Tuesday Cards
I'm still mailing two cards each Tuesday, although I don't always post them here. Today's cards are the first cards with a Fall theme. (The bright light "erased" the embossing from the card on the right...but it's really there.)

Less is More with Autumn's Bounty
It's a color challenge on the Less is More blog this week. "Autumn's Bounty" --"autumnal shades."
My card features two leaves....one stamped in black on a Distress background; the other heat-embossed in gold. (I CANNOT identify the origin of the stamp; it's one of a set of leaves that lost its original packaging.) The pattern at the left of the black layer is from a napkin, and the sentiment is a Clear Mini Stamp from Inkadinkado.
