Continuing in my Blue Period.....
Blue, blue, blue---I've made 3 tags and a postcard in the last 24 hours and each one is blue. Of course, blue IS my favorite color, but I probably need to branch out for my next creation. Sunday Postcard Art has an open theme this week, so I've combined some Tim Holtz stamps with a provocative collage image, snowflakes in some strategic locations, and some holographic glitter...all on patterned paper. (The glitter can be viewed with a click!)

The glory of Autumn on a postcard
It's a postcard with "Autumn Glory" as the theme....for Sunday Postcard Art. My own photograph of autumn leaves is the background, with a central image from Altered Pages and some overstamping with Tim Holtz's leaves.

Umbrella time on Sunday Postcard Art
This beautiful image of a bride with a lacy umbrella was located on the internet. Someone had collected favorite images of vintage umbrellas. I stamped some brown leaves and outlined them with copper Stickles. I believe it suits the theme for this week's Sunday Postcard Art.

Oriental Sunday Postcard Art
Washi paper with some stamped kanji and coins....and a great image of an Asian man(?) --- all for Sunday Postcard Art's "Oriental" theme.

Sunday Postcard Art "Mermaid"
There are so many wonderful artists who contribute to Sunday Postcard Art, and I usually just admire the work without participating. However, I decided to try the "Mermaid" challenge this week. My postcard is a combination of rubber stamping and watercolor marker "wash." (Combination of Hearts in Touch and Third Coast stamps)

Sunday Postcard Art
The artists who make Sunday Postcard Art are fabulous! Most of the time, I just visit and admire, but I rarely participate. However, I knew I had a vintage cupid image (Altered Pages) tucked away somewhere, so I decided I'd make my one and only Valentine this year. Because I manipulated the piece in Photoshop Elements, this is about as close to digital art as I get.
