A SENTIMENTal Card

Once long ago, I took the Sentimental Sundays challenge; this week it is "Focus on the Sentiment." I've chosen one of my favorite happy sentiments, from Inky Antics.   The paper is Authentique's "Journey" 6x6 pad for the 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.

Sentimental Sundays ...

Three designer papers, three buttons and some ribbon:  that's the recipe for "Sentimental Sundays" this week.
The card is a "Joy Fold Card" from a tutorial by Beate Johns on SplitCoastStampers.  The patterned papers are from Basic Grey's "Fruitcake" collection.

Sentimental Sundays...."Clean and Simple"

It should be easy for me to produce clean and simple cards because I struggle with design.  The Sentimental Sundays challenge inspired me to create a pink card after reading Cynnie's post on her Galerie 46 blog.  One embossed card front, a Nestie shape, a 'simplicity' digital sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs, and a line of pink pearls is about as simple as one can get!

Sentimental Sundays...."For Men"

I just 'discovered' Sentimental Sundays a couple of weeks ago....a great blog with some wonderful FREE digi sentiment downloads!   This week, the challenge is "For Men," so I chose one of the four stamps I own that could be considered masculine.  This one is from Tin Can Mail, stamped on patterned paper from My Mind's Eye.  The special sentiment is a download from the latest SS post, and it actually covers up "Simple Pleasures" on the image.
