I'm trying FUSION's challenge again.... the inked piece is colored with Distress Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon, Picked Raspberry, and Worn Lipstick) and then splattered with water. Image is from Flourishes and die is from Die-Namics.
These newer floral dies are very pretty but also a bit tricky to work with because they are so delicate. I cut the peony (Memory Box die) in two layers --one pink and one green -- and then pieced them together by using spray adhesive on the back. (The "hello" is from Die-Namics.) The die cuts also have a spritzing of Pearl mist on them.
Lisa's Bloggers Challenge is featuring that old favorite: black and white with just a splash of color. I love black and white, and I'm always game to add some color! The splash of color on my card is an orange Hero Arts flower, colored with markers and glazed with Glossy Accents. The center looks dimensional but it's the result of leaving little white spaces when coloring. "Hi" is a Die-namics die; the label is a Nestabilities and the leaves are from Poppy Stamps.
