I've been looking for some new challenges and I remembered The Color Hues Challenge I tried once or twice before. I also have a drawer full of Asian images from years ago. In this new year, I decided I'm going to go back to some of my old favorites. (If only Blogger hadn't become so difficult to work with! Google itself has become a pain. I need to have my phone at hand just to open my Google photos, and dealing with a blog is so frustrating! I am seriously considering closing the blog, but it's my outlet for my card-making.)
I'll be honest, I had red and black in mind when I chose this Stampington & Co wood-mount stamp. I am certain it is more than a decade old. However, as I said, I have a drawer of these old stamps, and I'm going to use them.

This is a beautiful image and a beautiful card! It looks worthy of framing. I'd forgotten all about Stampington & Co. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
This is a beautiful image no matter how old it is and it looks amazing on your card. I plan to revisit many of my old stamps as well. You sure did ace the color challenge with this one! I am not having the Blogger and Google problems that you are, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to find time for blogging. However, like you, this is my outlet and I won't give it up.
Evelyn, she is a stunning image and so worthy of sharing, regardless of age! I love how you incorporated the gray on the pillow, pearls and the lovely woodgrain frame. I'm so glad you decided to join us for this round at Color Hues; I always appreciate seeing your cards in the gallery since I'm an Oregonian too! (living in Idaho for now lol!)
I'm so glad you used this beautiful stamp, Evelyn! It worked perfect for these colors! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Color Hues!
