Without Flowers for a Birthday Card

Seize the Birthday asks for a birthday card sans flowers....it's a challenge but a good one. To create my card, I dug into the remaining stash of wood-mounted stamps for this American Art Stamps image (my wood-mounts are really ancient).   Black and white seemed the right choice, with just a little bit of color added.  (Oops, there is a handful of flowers, but very tiny.)  This card would be appropriate for the right adult.

Perfect for the challenge and I would think those tiny flowers shouldn't make a difference. I love the image and your black and white paper. One of my favorite oldies is an American Art Stamp similar to this. I've used it a lot, but it's been a while. Maybe time for another go.

I love the different black and white patterns you used on this very fun and funky card. I will have what she's having. LOL! Thanks so much for playing with us at the Seize the Birthday challenge!
