Stencil on a Birthday Card

(I LOVE the "Seize the Birthday" theme image!)   In spite of my heavy purge of supplies, stamps, and tools recently, I did keep all of my stencils.  They take up very little space and I haven't used most of them.  I used one with lots of angular designs for my card.

Purging your supplies can be so hard but so rewarding in the end. I hope you are happy with your decision to do so. The stenciled background adds so much interest to this card. Thanks for sharing your wonderful card with us at Seize the Birthday.

It's amazing how little room those stencils require and it's a kick to create with them. I like a pattern like this that can be used as a background. Pretty blues, so perfectly matched in your ink, cardstock, and dotted paper. If I didn't have so much designer paper... Evelyn, thanks for playing with us at Seize the Birthday!

Love how all the patterns and layers look so cohesive because you stuck to a soft monochrome colour scheme. Thanks for playing along with my stencilling topping at Seize The Birthday.
