Since my "purge" of years of crafting material in my craft room, I've decided to concentrate on the remaining wood-mounted stamps, for a change. This Color Throwdown challenge uses three complementary colors. I decided to go back in my crafting experience and try some alcohol ink backgrounds. The inks were something I didn't get rid of.

You're very skilled with the alcohol inks, Evelyn! I never did get around to collecting them. These colors are gorgeous and make a nice background for the large sentiment. There is much wisdom in the quote. I like your idea of focusing on the woodblocks. A purge like that is very liberating, isn't it?
Great card. I have many "inspirational" type stamps that I love, but never figured out how / where to use them. I will definitely try this.
