One Layer with a Thistle Plant

When I first read "single layer card," I shudder just a little.  Layering seems to be part of my card-making DNA.   For this Less is More  card, I found a stamp from Technique Junkies that hadn't been inked yet, a border image from Rubbernecker, and a really old (early 2000's) Penny Black wood-mount sentiment.   I inked the Field Flowers stamp with watercolor markers and misted it before stamping.

Absolutely gorgeous, Evelyn! This should be a winner. Whether no layers or many, this composition is artful and so lovely. Sorry I've been MIA. Life.

Beautiful design Evelyn. I love that you've used older stamps and embraced the idea of a one layer card. They do get easier the more you do, honestly! Thank you for sharing with us at Less is More.
