Yes, there are April Showers....and in our part of the country, there is snow, wind, and 20-degree mornings. I'm so ready for a real spring, when something other than my crocus bulbs are blooming. This cute Double D Challenge inspired me to do some paper piecing on this rather old-fashioned image. I cut the parasol image from the background paper and the girl's skirt from a coordinating plaid paper. The Joy sentiment is an old Hero Arts wooden stamp.

Great Card! Love the paper pieced umbrella and skirt. Thanks for joining us at Double D Challenges.
Look at you! I clicked on and suddenly 3 posts. I've been a little off my game the last few days. I love how you played the board with your umbrella girl. She's so sweet and that's some super nice paper piecing. Everything coordinates so beautifully. You inspire me, Evelyn. I'm glad to see you with us at Double D!
What a fabulously created card for our challenge, the paper piecing is perfect and oh so pretty as is the background!!
Thank you for joining our challenge at Double D!
