Freshly Made Sketch of an "artsy" Nature

When I set out to make this Freshly Made Sketches card, I considered many floral images, none of which seemed to be the one for the focal piece.  Digging through drawers of seldom-used stamps, I found this one that had never been inked. I decided I would color it with some new metallic watercolors that arrived last week.  The most time-consuming and frustrating aspect of the entire card was the "grateful" banner.

What a lovely card! That's a great image and I love how you've coloured it! The metallic accents are very elegant! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Great choice for the image and nice that you're using it for the first time. I hear you about the banner. Sometimes for me the most difficult part is finding an appropriate sentiment -- the right words, font, size. I have a collection of bottles like this that get moved from one part of the garden to the other.
