A One-Layer Card with Spots

I've grown to enjoy making a one-layer card, at least now and then!  This Less is More card with spots provided me the opportunity to use my new Tim Holtz layering stencil, inked with Speckled Egg Distress ink. (This is my second round of this challenge...I covered too much of the card front with ink the first time around.)

I love the quote. Again, and as usual, when I saw TH's stencil..I stare and have no idea how to use it. Now, you have shown what can be done in a simple and elegant way. Very clever..Thanks for sharing.

Speckled egg, feathers... it's a meant-to-be combination! This is the part I have trouble with -- using a smaller area of the card front. As much as I like the look of it, you'd think I'd get better at it. Your card is ideal.

Super card Evelyn. That stencil is perfect for CAS cards and the use of the feathers finishes it beautifully. I'm pleased you're getting to love a one layer card. Thank you for sharing with us at Less is More.

Love your delicate card with these black feathers over the blue/grey spots. Beautiful CAS design too. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More.
