Vertical Stripes

This was a fun card.  When I was considering what to do for CAS Colours and Sketches, I saw a piece of paper  with what look like painted stripes.  I cut out three of them for the card, chose a floral patterned piece for the sentiment die and stacked it for depth.  From a distance the Happy kind of disappears into the background, but I reminded myself that cards are generally viewed close...not far.

This is so cool. How clever you are to use paper for the strips. In fact, maybe I could use my patterned papers. Thanks for the ideas.
Hope all is well.

I love this! And, yes, cards are generally viewed close. I sometimes hope not too closely!
