I actually have two cards that don't meet any challenge they were intended for! But I'm posting them anyway. (I am NOT very careful about the CAS thing.)
The first is a "splatters" card....but there is nothing CAS about it. I like it for a special birthday, anyway.
The second one is an experiment ....with a brown lunch bag. I dry-embossed it after reading about the technique on Pinterest. The fun sentiment is heat-embossed.

I think it's the black and gold combination, but I saw the butterfly card as a Happy New Year! Both cards are wonderful!
Dang, I love both of them whether they meet any challenges or not. Black and gold is a favorite when I want a touch of elegance, but I'm equally fond of the rustic and casual look of a brown paper bag. Your gold splatters are beautiful, even if your card is not CAS.
Happy New year. We certainly won't know the difference. But thanks for sharing. I love your inspiration. As usual, I stare at a blank card and try to figure out what to do.
