Christmas-y Choices

Metallic cardstock is similar to jewelry on a card, in my view.  I love both of these standard combos for Less is More, but realized that my blue and silver card wasn't really a CAS.  So I started again, choosing a simple design and a a three-letter sentiment.  "Joy" (old Penny Black stamp)  is gold-embossed and the piece is layered and accented with metallic gold cardstock, all on an ivory card.

This less is definitely more! Beautiful gold on red, which is warm as opposed to the coolness of blue and silver. Warm colors always feel best to me.

Evelyn your red and gold combo is a cAS winner - and your simple layout and eyecatching embossing show that less really can be more - your card is a real standout in the LIM gallery this week!
