Color Throwdown 614

I have stacks of new stamps that I just thought I had to buy....and they haven't been inked yet.  In fact, there are many sentiments that I just will never use.  I also have some old stamps in drawers that I love, and it's always a delight to pull them out to use. This image is a Stampin' Up! item from 2006.  For a year or two, I had a real thing about dragonflies, and this image is in a drawer labeled "Wings" with stamps of butterflies.  I prefer dragonflies to butterflies, and this image works perfectly for Color Throwdown 614.

Absolutely beautiful, Evelyn. Oddly, I prefer dragonflies, too, but have very few stamps. I had this one, but rarely used it and could never figure out a good card design. That was then. Now I wish I had it back. There were some other stamps in the set, too, wasn't there? You always use this so well. Love the embossed background.

Gorgeous card! I love this stamp and the contrast of the textured base! Thanks for playing this week's CTD challenge!

Congratulations on your win - lovely card! I had to look up Elgin, OR because even though I've lived in Oregon most of my life I had never heard of it. I'm down in Medford near the California border.

Gorgeous card. Do you remember the name of the set? I used to own it, and I gave it to a friend because I wasn't getting much use out of it. Now I want to play with it the next time we get together & CASE this card! :)
