That One Layer Card

I used to dread the OLC challenge of Less is More but now and then it works just fine!  This new stamp (and die) set just arrived from Technique Tuesday.  "Juniper Joy" is a good winter floral; I painted with metallic watercolors.  The sentiment is included in the set.  (I've included a close-up to show the actual color of the berries.)

It's hard to know what to do with a one layer card when it comes to coloring. Pencils are okay or watercolor if the paper is good. I'm stingy with my WC paper, though. I'm thinking your metallic paints were the perfect choice for this! I love the shimmer.
