Tuesday Card

Coffee was on my brain when I set out to make my Tuesday card this week. I was inspired by a digital sentiment about coffee, but as I worked on the card, I decided against that sentiment and went with one of my new Verve sets, "Happiness is..."  I chose two sentence endings that I think suit the busy mother of three, wife of a rancher, home visiting nurse, volunteer basketball coach for elementary girls.  Oh, she milks two cows a day, as well.  In the note inside my card, I told her we need to meet soon for coffee.

What a fun and perfect card for your very busy friend. She will love to meet you for coffee...when she finds time. TFS Evelyn. Hugs...

HI, Eveyln,
This is awesome, as usual. I love the quote. It fits perfectly with your friend. And, it sure fits a lot of us.
I wonder how you all are doing and last time, I know you visited with your sons and family.
I have finally seen snow falling when driving home one day. Can't imagine blizzards like you experience.
Take care.

I so agree with the sentiment! I was only a busy working mother one one, but busy nonetheless, and I still feel silence is golden. I often think about your Tuesday mailings and how your friend must look forward to them. Honestly, if I knew to expect a weekly card I would stalk the mailman when the time drew close. I miss the days of letter writing when I'd receive a letter, then wait to sit down and read it when I could savor it. Newsy letters. I always had beautiful stationery for writing back. I do have a couple of friends who still write occasionally and I enjoy it so much. I think I'll send them some newsy Valentines.
