CAS Watercolor Holiday

My CAS Watercolor Holiday card features a Stampendous poinsettia with a PoppyStamps diecut.

Once again, I used my Peerless watercolors to color the poinsettia that I stamped and heat-embossed.  After painting the flower, I dry embossed it with dots, and then accented the image in gold and clear Wink of Stella. The "merry" diecuts are from metallic gold cardstock, which is getting a lot of use this Christmas season. (My photo is not good because the dark rainy day provided no natural light.)

Your watercolored poinsettia is gorgeous Evelyn. Your dry embossed dots are wonderful with your dots around your poinsettia. TFS my friend. So pleased you joined us at CAS Watercolour. Hugs

Now, that's a beautiful CAS card, Evelyn! Pretty poinsettia and love that you embossed right over it. It hardly shows on the flower. Nice effect! A bit of gold is always a nice touch on a Christmas card, too.

There's nothing quite like a poinsettia on a Christmas card and your is so very pretty Evelyn. Those Swiss Dots are a perfect backing. Thanks for sharing at CAS Watercolour Challenge. Ina Guest Designer.
