CAS Mix Up Birthday

I did some "smooshing" with Distress Inks and water on watercolor paper for the background.  The Wordsworth stamped front was layered with a complementary color and everything was adhered to a simple card for my entry in the CAS Mix Up.

What a wonderful saying, Evelyn! I love the soft, smooshed background that complements it! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!

HI, Evelyn,

Hope you all up there are getting some spring weather..After all, we are in summer now.

Anyway, love the subtle colors in this card. The fact you have only a large quote makes this card extraordinary. I bet the only time consuming part was when you had to get your supplies together.

I need to see your sentiment collection..wonder how many rooms you are using?? That, and of course, your paper.
Hope Rod is enjoying retirement. Now he can see how much fun you are having.

Check in with you later.

Evelyn...I am so pleased you are playing with us again this month :-) Your soft subtle smooshed background is so artsy. I love how it does not take away from your lovely sentiment. TFS my friend. Hugs..
