The challenge at Less is More this week is a theme: faux bleach. The technique is open to interpretation, so I visited at least three online tutorials. each demonstrating a different approach: Distress Inks with water stamping, "ghost" images with layers of spray washes, and images embossed in clear ink and then covered with Distress Inks. I ended up with the "stamping with water" on a Distress Ink background, but ended up with just one piece that actually looked a bit like bleach. The greens and yellows worked okay, but the pinks, oranges and reds did not, no matter what I tried. This particular card does have a happy vibrance, after all.

Gorgeous effect, Evelyn! Those colours are really stunning, so much dramatic impact.
I love the background on this! It's vibrant and wonderful and a favorite color of mine. The black really pops. It's fantastic, just like the die cut sentiment says!
I love the arty effect and vibrant colours on your card, Evelyn! Thank you for sharing it with us at Less is More :)
Lovely colour combination and very effective bleaching technique.
This is fab

What a stunning panel you created with the faux bleach technique Evelyn; it really reminds me of tie die material. Ideally we like to see a little more white space on cards but your panel is truely a masterpiece! Thanks so much for sharing it with us at Less is More.
