Rush, rush to finish the cards in time for the 11 a.m. mail deadline at the local post office. I started the cards last week, but they did not turn out well at all! That meant I needed to start over, with only 30 minutes to spare. Simple is the answer, so simple is what I did. I found a card in my photo file of previous creations and decided on a flower (I have a lot of them!). Then I had to find complementary cardstock. As it turned out, it was already textured with dots. Generally, I write a note in each of the cards but this week I stamped a sentiment instead. My friends will forgive me.

Your friends will certainly forgive you, especially knowing you went to the trouble to make these pretty cards for them. They matter to you and you were thinking of them. That's what counts. Even the simple cards take time. These turned out very nice, I think.
